Product Overview

We develop, build and sell medical diagnostic devices mainly for cardiologic and vascular disgnostics. Our product philosophy is to encorporate the best state-of-the art technology and science in an easy-to-use device to be sold at an economical price. Our devices, based on years of scientific research, have established the standards for signal quality and diagnostic benefit.

Non-invasive haemodynamic monitor niccomo

The niccomo™ is a medical hemodynamic monitor based on the noninvasive impedance cardiography technology (like the CardioScreen® system). niccomo™ defines the technological standard and enables first time an additional peripheral channel. for more information, see the niccomo™ web page.

CardioScreen®

The CardioScreen® device is a monitoring system for the noninvasive monitoring of cardiovascular parameters like stroke volume, cardiac output, systolic time intervals, pulmonary parameters (breathing, fluid content of thorax) and others. It is based on the impedance cardiographic method. The CardioScreen® adds highly sensitive measurement electronics to the very sophisticated signal processing technology that medis. developed in years of university research. It can be used as follows:
  • for cardiological diagnostics and screening, also by non-cardiologic doctors
  • in intensive care units
  • in emergency rooms
  • during anesthesia
  • for optimizing pacemaker settings
  • for drug testing, various physiological research and much more.
CardioScreen® and the niccomo™ monitor are based on the same technology and in some parts even on the same software. But the CardioScreen® devices are PC driven. The niccomo™ has build-in computing capabilities and is used stand-alone.

VasoScreen®

VasoScreen® detects accurately peripheral occlusion diseases using state-of-the-art medical technology by using 4-Channel simultaneous plethysmographic measurement at fingers and toes as optional at wrist and ankle.

Blood circulation variations before and after dilatations, peripheral vascular training and medicamentous therapy can be objectified in a time and cost saving way.

rheoscreen® devices

The rheoscreen® family of measurement devices for peripheral vascular diagnostics can be combined for a measurement system operated by integrated software:

rheoscreen® compact

rheoscreen compact The compact device is a venous occlusion plethysmograph based on our high-resolution impedance plethysmographic technique.  The additional pulse wave signal provides further information for diagnostic benefit. The following diagnostic methods can be performed with the rheoscreen compact:
  • Venous occlusion plethysmography (VOP) for venous testing and thrombosis screening
  • Hyperemia test, VOP for arterial diagostics
  • Arterial pulse wave based on rheography/impedance plethysmography
  • Rheoencephalography
  • Peripheral/segmental blood pressure

rheoscreen light S

rheoscreen® light / rheoscreen® light S

These devices are based on photoplethysmography (PPG) and can be used for:
  • Tip-toe test for diagnosing venous insufficiencies in legs
  • Measurement through medical compression stockings and certain fashion hose
  • Arterial pulse wave measurement in fingers and toes
  • Peripheral systolic blood pressure measurement even in fingers and toes

rheoscreen phlebo

rheoscreen® phlebo

The phlebo device measures the true venous pressure in peripheral veins using only a minimally invasive small needle.

The phlebodynamometry technique (venous pressure measurement during and after a special exercise) measures the exact grade of insufficiency, and a tourniquet test enables the results of a venous surgery to be predicted.

Hidop300 mobile doppler

The Hidop300 made by MTB can be operated with the rheoscreen software to give the rheoscreen system a complete FFT vascular doppler for a pocket price. The Hidop300 features include:

  • 2, 4 and 8 MHz CW probes (one per time)
  • Bidirectional measuring
  • 128 points FFT (frequency analysis)

rheosreen® software

The PC Software (Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP) provides easy and comfortable operation of the rheoscreen devices. The software supports storing, printing, and data presentation with the quality and ease that you would expect from software created by people with years of practical experience and strong desire to accomodate all their customers' needs.

The software can be used in a network so it is possible to measure in one location and to view the results in another room, i.e. measure in the lab and view at the doctors desk.
