"
In patients undergoing ventricular resynchronisation therapy, AV delay optimization based on CO determination by impedance cardiography is comparable to that measured by transmitral flow pulsed Doppler. However, ICG seems a more objective and simpler technique."

 Example

The following example shows a 70 years old woman with a DDD pacemaker. The AV-delay of the pacemaker is altered between 100, 150, 200 and 250 ms. After every change an impedance measurement is performed.

Pacemaker Report

The overview shows the ECG and ICG waveforms as well as the calculated values for every pacemaker setting. Different curves can be opposed to each other.

Bar diagram

In the bar diagram screen separate parameters can be opposed to each other.  In the in direct comparison to optimal pacemaker setting can be determined.

For our example an AV-delay of 200 ms can be evaluated as optimum.
